The present story-drama-script was inspired by the expressions of deep concern that have recently been heard about Artificial Intelligence. The fear that machines may rebel against men is an old story, but it must be admitted that today the danger appears much more real, because machines have become “intelligent”, and will be increasingly so. Of course, it is too late to impose a “moratorium” on artificial intelligence research, and the proposal doesn’t seem very brilliant to me. Humanity has started riding the tiger of artificial intelligence: it is relatively easy to stay on horseback, but problems arise when you want to get off. In this story I try to explore a possible evolution of this dreaded rebellion.
